ECTS ‘STARS’ WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT GAMES OSCARS ECTS 97 Interactive Entertainment and Games Awards, Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, Sunday 7th September 1997 - The winners of the world’s most important computer, video game and consumer software awards were announced by Ray Cokes (MTV, Channel 4) tonight in front of the world’s games industry leaders. It was a triumphant night for Tomb Raider star Lara Croft. No less than five ECTS ‘Stars’ were awarded to the smash PC and console game from Eidos, whilst Virgin’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert won three awards. |
