Ray has been voted "Most popular VJ on MTV"
February 21st, 1999 -- This month the viewers of MTV Text were asked which MTV presenter would
deserved the title "Best MTV VJ". It wasn't a big surprise when MTV announced the winner: Ray Cokes.
Years after his departure from MTV Europe, the viewers still remember his unique
style of presenting, his funny crappy jokes and his crazy TV crew. More details can be found on MTV text page 201.
The editors are pleased to conclude that even big boobs (Katja Schuurman) still can't beat the man who
made Europe smile almost every night of the week (Not that we don't like Katjas boobs ;-) ....
